hello lovelies... I'm not going to stand on my soap box and preach the virtues of the New Orleans jazz fest... the FEST (as locals call it) is old enough to speak for itself, with the help of its 12 stages of soul-stirring music—Jazz, Gospel, Cajun, zydeco, Blues, R&B, Rock, Funk, African, Latin, Caribbean, & Folk it has a lot to say... along with the incredible local talent the fest has also hosted many international known artist among them: Aretha Franklin, Miles Davis, Bob Dylan, Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie, Santana, Sarah Vaughan, Paul Simon, Jimmy Buffett, Max Roach, B.B. I saw these shoes over the weekend in john varvatos on the bowery (the old cbgb's location)... they are new but with a definite vintage feel... they are simply marvelous but priced prohibitively at $598... don't they know we are in a recession... this pic will be as close as I get to owning them... but you on the other hand... enjoy
