I'm not going to stand on my soap box and preach the virtues of the New Orleans jazz fest... the FEST (as locals call it) is old enough to speak for itself, with the help of its 12 stages of soul-stirring music—Jazz, Gospel, Cajun, zydeco, Blues, R&B, Rock, Funk, African, Latin, Caribbean, & Folk it has a lot to say... along with the incredible local talent the fest has also hosted many international known artist among them: Aretha Franklin, Miles Davis, Bob Dylan, Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie, Santana, Sarah Vaughan, Paul Simon, Jimmy Buffett, Max Roach, B.B.
